I'm announcing a new project that I've been working on called The Drupalers Webring!
I've really been getting into retro web paraphernalia lately, and one of the things I've been paying special attention to are webrings, a way of connecting a group of websites all devoted to a shared special interest. A visitor can start at any website, and by using a shared widget on all of those websites, that person can jump from one website to the next.

I'm trying out something new on the website! I've recently switch to using a super minimalistic theme based off of the wonderful readable.css. I wanted to try and design a thoroughly unopinionated theme that utilized custom CSS as little as possible while retaining a simple, maybe even retro look. No columns, no sidebars, just text. Interestingly, it even implements some basic dark mode support and reduced animation support, for folks who use those features.
It's been about a year since I started building and maintaining the Drupal service integration for NixOS, and the next nixpkgs stable release is comming up this May, so it seems like a good time to take stock and talk about what has been going on with this project in that time.
