The single best ad blocking tool around! This makes the internet usable. It's good for the environment too.
GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS makes a minimal, De-Googled phone operating system with a focus on security and privacy. I use it. It's great!

No AI Use
I don't use AI for this blog or, for that matter, any of my personal projects.

You should be allowed to fix your own stuff! There are a lot of weird roadblocks on the path to manage the stuff you already own. I'm not saying there shouldn't be hardware pros Professional technicians are important! But so are randos with DIY tool kits who know how to or want to learn how to do simple fixes themselves.
Web Standards & Validation
Feed and HTML Validation
W3 offers a free HTML, CSS, and RSS feed validation service that can help you diagnose problems on your website. Most browsers are able to recover from slight semantic errors and issues, but it is still a good way to see if your markup has any glaring issues in it.
Date Formats
The ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD) date format has the unique advantage of being one of the easiest date formats to read for international audiences, which is why I use it on this blog to print out dates.
